Betis is one of the Spanish brands of extra virgin olive oil with the highest penetration in China. Betis oils are produced by Torres y Ribelles S.A., a Sevillian company that produces and sells olive oil with more than 100 years of history, founded in 1914, and is currently among the top ten Spanish exporters of olive oil.
Betis oils are the result of a meticulous selection of different varieties of olives: Hojiblanca, Arbequina, Picudo and Picual. Its range of products is very extensive, both in cans to ensure optimum preservation of its organoleptic characteristics for longer, as in exclusive glass bottles with a unique design that make consumers remember the product, or in plastic bottles with prices tight and competitive.
Your distributor in China, Qingdao Golden Olive Marketing Co. LTD, wanted to celebrate in style the tenth anniversary of its commercial association with the Spanish company and the implementation of Betis in this great market.
China is by its volume of purchases the second market in Asia, the tenth in the world, and certainly the first in terms of its growth potential in the medium term.
For this commemoration Qingdao Golden Olive Marketing Co. LTD gathered in the historic city of Nanjing, its main managers and employees and a wide representation of its extensive network of regional and local distributors.
The main directors of Torres Y Ribelles, moved to Nanking to participate in the program of events.
Among the scheduled activities Torres and Ribelles S.A. producer of the Betis brand, and its distributor in China Qingdao Golden Olive Marketing Co. have given an intense seminar on Spanish olive oil, given by Don Santiago Botas, whose recipients were the customs officers of Qingdao, the fourth port of China and, after Shanghai, the second gateway for olive oils imported by the Asian giant.
The organization of this seminar is one more show of growing interest of the authorities, the distribution and many consumers for wide knowledge about the history, production, qualities and culinary uses of this extraordinary food, of which Spain is, by far, its first supplier.
