Preparation
Today we propose you an easy and quick recipe of those that solves the food in a jiffy, orange chicken. A good option to eat chicken with a different flavor, the orange gives a bittersweet hue that will surprise you.
Chicken
is one of the most consumed foods in the Mediterranean diet. It is
very complete nutritionally; the presence of vitamin B3, B9, B7, B12,
A and minerals such as iron, calcium, iodine, zinc, magnesium, sodium
and phosphorus stand out. It is a food low in calories, with hardly
presence of sugar and fat, although it contains cholesterol (in small
quantity) and purines.
Oranges
are a food rich in carbohydrates, calcium, potassium, iodine,
phosphorus, magnesium and sodium, as well as vitamins A, B9 and C.
Elaboration:
We start by seasoning the
chicken breasts to our liking. In a frying pan with a little Betis
oil, brown them on both sides for 5 minutes. Then add two tablespoons
of balsamic vinegar, orange juice and chicken broth, sprinkle a
little rosemary and rectify the salt if necessary.
Bring
all the ingredients to the boiling point and, once it has been
obtained, lower the heat so that the meat is cooked for approximately
7 minutes.
Add
½ teaspoon of sugar, butter and a teaspoon of balsamic vinegar.
Raise the heat for a few minutes, until the sauce is reduced a
little.
When
serving, put the chicken in a dish and add the sauce on top. To
decorate the dish add a teaspoon of sesame seeds, some orange wedges
and a sprig of rosemary.

are for 4 people, cooking 15 min preparation 30 min.

- 4 boneless and skinless breasts
- 150 ml orange juice
- 200 ml chicken broth
- 4 tablespoons Betis olive oil
- 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 little fresh rosemary
- 1 teaspoon of butter
- ½ teaspoon sugar
- ½ media cucharadita de sésamo
- 4 slices of orange and sprigs of rosemary to decorate
