If you are one of those who like to eat healthy and also enjoy the dishes of spoon today we propose a simple recipe of turkey stew, which in addition to being a light spoon dish and it is scandalous.

The turkey is a bird with a lean meat, rich in proteins of good quality and pleasant flavor. In this recipe it is cooked with vegetables and potatoes. The vegetables will provide the dish with different vitamins and minerals as well as substances with antioxidant action, great allies of our health. On the other hand, potatoes are a source of complex carbohydrates and barely contains fat. Thanks to the low fat content of the dish, this could be recommended both for people with problems of excess weight, as for those who have high levels of cholesterol or triglycerides in the blood.

Elaboration:

We start by chopping the onion and garlic and fry them in a casserole with Betis olive oil over medium heat. Next we peel the carrots, cut them into small pieces and add them to the casserole.

Once the vegetables are lightly cooked, add salt and pepper turkey and cook for a couple of minutes without stopping to stir until the meat changes color. Then add the wine, and let it boil until it is consumed almost completely to evaporate alcohol.

Finally add the apple and potatoes peeled and chopped. Rectify salt and pepper if necessary and incorporate the water. When it starts to boil, add a sprig of fresh rosemary and let it simmer for 40 minutes.

Let it rest about ten minutes before serving. If you like that this thicker sauce crushes a few pieces of potato before serving.

The stews are always richer prepared from one day to the next, as the sauce will thicken and gain flavor.

Note: the quantities indicated are for 4 people, cooking 40 min preparation 60 min.
