Hungry but with little desire to cook? We have the answer, an easy and fast recipe with pasta that will surprise you, you only need a few ingredients and, you will have your lunch or dinner in a few minutes.

Spaghetti is a high carbohydrate food and has a low purine content. Its nutritional composition includes the presence of iron, calcium, fiber, potassium, iodine, zinc, magnesium and vitamins B3, B9 and B5. Pesto sauce presents important nutritional values, in addition to providing an exquisite and characteristic flavor, the basil with which this sauce is made is a source of minerals and antioxidants such as magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, fiber and high-quality proteins. It contains an outstanding amount of olive oil, which raises the calories and fat content, although it is a healthy fat. The presence of Parmesan cheese adds important amounts of phosphorus and vitamin B2, as well as calcium, iron, potassium, sodium, iodine and vitamins A, B3, B7 and D. On the other hand, it contributes saturated fat. It is a caloric recipe and with a prominent fat presence, so a moderate and sporadic consumption is recommended.

Preparation:

The first step is to wash the basil and parsley, drain and wipe with a damp cloth, take the leaves and chop in the mortar.

Peel the garlics and chop finely. Add to the mortar and crush the mixture with a pinch of salt. Add the pine nuts and continue crushing until a homogeneous paste.

At the time of boiling the pasta the correct thing is to put the water to boil (with the pot covered) and once it boils, pour the salt. When it comes to boiling, introduce the spaghetti sliding them by the wall of the pot, remove and let cook until cool, about 8 minutes. Drain the spaghetti and reserve a cup of cooking water.

Continue with the pesto and add the grated cheese, Betis olive oil and two or three tablespoon of cooking water. Continue crushing the mixture until a homogenous paste, its consistency should be medium.

In order to finish the spaghetti Al Pesto, stir the pasta and the sauce in a platter and serve at the moment. It can be decorated with arugula or cherry tomatoes.
