The company Torres y Ribelles has attended this year in the United Arab Emirates the GULFOOD Fair from February 18 to 22. His representative, Mr. Rafael Aznar, commented that this event is considered to be the biggest fair in the sector in the Persian Gulf and the Middle East, which is also attended by many other importers and distributors from Asian and African countries, in search of new business opportunities and new products.

GULFOOD is the largest fair in the Middle East dedicated to the food industry, attracting key decision-buying professionals from governments, cruise ships, the transport and aviation industry, hospital and educational institutions that offer catering and food services. The event is held at the Dubai International Conventions and Exhibitions Center. It has the presence of visitors from 185 different countries, with nearly five thousand exhibitors related to the agri-food sector, distributed in 900,000 square meters of fair.

Torres y Ribelles founded in 1914, has been dedicated since its inception to the production of high quality olive oil. It was named supplier of the Royal House during the reign of Alfonso XIII, a fact that marked the history of this company together with the Ibero-American Exhibition of 1929 that caused the exponential increase in exports establishing different business relationships that have been confirmed with the passage of the years.

 At present Torres y Ribelles produces 25,000,000 liters of oil with a packing capacity of 150,000 liters of olive oil per day. This amount allows him to work in more than thirty countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and America having his headquarters in Dos Hermanas (Seville). Its most emblematic brand, Betis, already leads markets that are as distant as they are different from each other, such as Puerto Rico, China or Thailand. The olive oils they make have olives from different places in Andalusia such as Hojiblanca, Picual, Arbequina and Cornicabra. It is also among the top 10 Spanish companies exporting olive oils with its own brand.

 From its main center of work in Dos Hermanas, it contributes to spreading the positive impact that one of the greatest treasures of the Mediterranean diet has for health, the olive oil, known as The Golden liquid in the international markets where it markets its brands.
