SESAME SEARED TUNA
Directions:
- Stir together the soy sauce, the Japanese sweet wine, the honey and the sesame oil in a small recipient then divide it into two equal parts. Once divided, blend the rice vinegar in one of the parts and keep it aside as a dipping sauce.
- Roll out the sesame seeds on a plate. Cover the tuna steaks with the second part of soy sauce mixture and press it in the sesame seeds until totally covered up.
- In a frying pan, heat the olive oil at high heat. When it becomes very hot, place steaks in the pan and sear each side for approximately 30 seconds. You can now serve it with the dipping sauce and wasabi paste.
